SADS is an African technology company founded in Dakar in 2026 by Abdoulaye Mbaye, an information systems and cybersecurity engineer, and Cheikh Mbacke, a software architect and application developer.
Their collaboration began in 2019, during their first year studying Networks and Telecommunications at IUT Roanne. Over the course of their studies, the two friends developed a shared conviction: digital engineering should not be limited to building websites and applications. It must also improve processes, secure infrastructure and provide concrete answers to everyday problems.
The idea for SADS came from a first observation: invisible water leaks can cause significant financial losses, waste an essential resource and create considerable inconvenience for users.
This observation led to SADS Hydro-Connect, an IoT solution currently in development designed to monitor flow and pressure in a water network, detect anomalies, alert the user and automatically close a valve when a critical situation is identified. The design ensures that essential safety decisions can be made locally, even when the network or cloud is unavailable.
Around this first project, SADS gradually built a team bringing together skills in electronics, embedded systems, web and mobile development, cybersecurity, enclosure design, testing, business development and human resources.
Today, the company develops its own products while supporting organisations that want to design technology solutions tailored to their needs. Its first projects are still in development and validation, with the aim of progressively presenting its first operational solutions.
